Fall Updates

The Year is flying by, and it's time to celebrate holidays with friends and family! The fall season brings a lot of change and opportunity to reflect on what we are thankful for. Our office is thankful for a lot, but mostly to finish another year of being able to work in this amazing community and its citizens. We are overwhelmingly grateful to have the chance to work with more and more people and we hope to continue that in years to come. This is a great time to review and get a plan in place for the rest of 2024 and into 2025. Preparing now can add a tremendous amount of value to your future, so let us find a way to add some value to your insurance protection! Through the end of the year, we are focusing on Life Insurance Awareness and ensuring your loved ones, as well as your assets, income and goals are protected. We are always available to assist with your Auto and Fire needs, helping build your Personal Price Plan to ensure you have the coverage that is needed to protect your household.

2024 Updates:

We are now in our 5th year of operation, and we are so excited to continue working to assist as many individuals and families as we can!

Whether you are new to this area or already a resident, there is no better team to work with! We can help you transition easily and are here to assist in any way we can. We are very familiar with Travelers Rest & the Upstate as a whole. Aside from insurance and financial products, we can assist with recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat, some local events coming up, and everything in between.

About Me:

I grew up here in Travelers Rest. I have lived in the Travelers Rest area all my life and I could not imagine living in a better place. The growth of this area has drawn interest from people from all over the country, and after one day here it is not hard to see why. I feel such gratitude to be able to serve an area that I am from and feel so passionately about. My parents, from an early age, taught me the importance of strong work ethic and how important it is to serve my community. My wife, Jaimie and I are both graduates of Clemson University and have great pride in being a part of that amazing university. We have one little girl, Emilia, who was born in December of 2020.

Today, as your State Farm Agent, I oversee an amazing team to bring you the right insurance coverage that fits your needs with products from auto, home, renters, life and business insurance. No matter how complex your needs are, my team and I keep one simple goal in mind: to help you get the coverage you need, with the personal service you'd expect from any hometown company. At my agency, we go beyond products to relationships. Whether it's meeting you and your loved ones on the scene of an accident or simply being available around town to just come say Hello, I'm here for you day and night. It's the right thing to do, as your agent-and as your neighbor. If you don't see me in the area, you'll likely find me playing golf, enjoying the lake, or supporting Clemson sports. I'm thankful to be surrounded by one of the most beautiful areas in the country that allows time to relax and refocus with my family.

Our staff includes four amazing team members. Sarah Mills, Kelsey Chernick, Andie Johnson & John Schneider.

  • Sarah is originally from Travelers Rest, after moving around the country while her husband was in the military, she has now lives here locally with her husband and 4 children. She has been with us since Day 1. Sarah now works with us on an as needed basis and will be here to fill in on those weeks we need a bit of extra assistance.

  • Kelsey was born and raised in Delaware and now calls Travelers Rest home where she resides with her husband and son. Kelsey started with us in November of 2020 and loves helping any way that she can!

  • Andie grew up in Greenwood, SC and now resides in Greenville. Andie is an amazing artist and always brings a smiling face to the agency. She started with us in August of 2022 and is always here to lend a hand!

  • John is the newest member of the team. He is born and raised in Greenville. He enjoys spending time with his family of two daughters, watching college football, fishing and golf. He also enjoys helping operate his locally family-owned steakhouse. He strives to deliver exceptional customer service and takes pride in helping families with their insurance needs.
